Asymptote Internals

Asymptote:The Vector Graphics Language

Asymptote is a powerful descriptive vector graphics language that provides a natural coordinate-based framework for technical drawing. Labels and equations are typeset with LaTeX, for high-quality PostScript output. See the Asymptote homepage for more information.

There is another Asymptote wiki at Art of Problem Solving.

Asymptote Internals Wiki

This wiki is for documenting the internals of Asymptote.

  • Kernel = the core language of Asymptote, without any modules. What you get when you run "asy -noautoplain"
  • Plain Asymptote, what you get normally running "asy"; the kernel plus the plain_* modules, plus some others.
  • Configuration Info on config/build
